♡ ; frozen hot chocolate @ 1:21 PM

For all chocoholics, this is a recipe that you will love.  You know how we always seem to get frozen hot chocolate drinks at Starbucks, Second Cup or Tim Hortons? Now you can make it on your own with a very simple recipe that takes less than 10 minutes to complete a cup of frozen hot chocolate.  This would be prefect for the summer . . . which is not too far away since the groundhog says it's going to be an early spring! So prepare yourself a wonderful chocolate-y recipe for the preparation for S-U-M-M-E-R. I can't wait to get out of the cold!

Ingredients:
- 3 ounces best-quality chocolate (or a variety of your favourites)
- 2 tsp store bough hot chocolate mix (recommended:  Serendipity Frozen Hot Chocolate Mix)
- 1 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 3 cups ice
- Whipping cream, for garnish
- Chocolate shavings, for garnish

Directions:
1.  Chop the chocolate into small pieces and melt in a small heavy saucepan or in the top of a double boiler over simmering water.  Stir occasionally until melted.  Add the hot chocolate mix and sugar, stirring constantly until blended.
2.  Remove from heat and slowly add 1/2 cup of milk, stirring until smooth.  Cool to room temperature.
3.  In a blender, place the remaining 1 cup of milk, the chocolate mixture, and the ice.  Blend on high speed until smooth and the consistency of a frozen daiquiri.  Pour into a giant goblet and top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.

For attractive lips, speak words of kindness. For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people. For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry. For poise, walk wtih the knowledge that you will never walk alone. People, even more than things have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed and redeemed: never throw out anyone.
